I realised recently the importance of not standardizing our localities. In essence, we can bring out a strong art form through standards but it would also some times mean that it would deprive the original art form of itself.

Taking photos for example, require a certain glint of standard for most to appreciate your work. BUT, not preserving the look, the view point and ultimately the preferred visual style would seriously detriment the quality, the composition and the desired visual accomplishment.

Its like making a banana look like the empire state building.
